L'Horizon Hotel & Spa Beach Clean Up

Recently, all the Hand Picked Hotels were focussed on activities to energise the teams and celebrate our Hand Picked Values: Mutual, Family, Vibrant and Unconventional. At L'Horizon, the team carried out a Beach Litter Pick Up afternoon to emphasise the importance of Mutual, the contribution of each hotel to its local community.

L'Horizon is situated right on the beautiful beach of St Brelade's bay with its stunning views and golden sands; it can be easy to take this idyllic spot for granted. The Litter Pick Up was planned late afternoon on a gloriously sunny day and the beach was packed. The willing volunteers from L'Horizon team ventured forward with gloves, bin bags and litter pick up sticks to see what rubbish was out there and their enthusiastic efforts encouraged those using the beach to join in too.

Keeping the bays clean is an important activity for all those living, working and visiting Jersey to prevent pollution of the beautiful waters, protect the marine life and maintain the standards awarded by the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide.
