Competition Details

To win an overnight stay for two people at a Hand Picked Hotel including dinner, bed and breakfast, all you need to do is enter your photo into our photo of the month competition.

Submit your photo taken at a Hand Picked Hotel matching our monthly 'theme' to:

marketing@handpicked.co.uk 

We will now be offering two prizes each month:

• The photo with the most facebook 'likes' and
• A Hand Picked panel of judges will vote for their favourite photo

Building a community online

Hand Picked Hotels wish to build a community of fans using Facebook social network and want to build a group of members that want to hear, speak and view on our collection of hotels and share stories, memories and those special moments when they visit any of our county house hotels. We hope that all our members enjoy being part of our community and continue to engage and be involved in what we do.

We want to bring together our 'fans' and create and grow a community - on this note, please be aware that any postings, comments and photographs are open to all our members and the online community which can be read and shared publicly online. Any offensive behaviour will automatically disqualify entrants into this and any future Hand Picked competitions.

How to enter:

• Submissions allowed throughout the month and published on facebook for voting.
• Email to : marketing@handpicked.co.uk
• File format : JPEG, max size 2.5MB.
• Only 1 image per participant.
• If participants send multiple images or emails, only the earliest received will qualify.
• Judges will shortlist final images to appear in Hand Picked Facebook Photo Album.
• Total number of "LIKES" are added up from your entry on the Facebook Album. Winners will emerge based on the most numbers of "likes".
• Closing of "Likes", 11:59pm last day of the month.
• Winner will be announced once competition has closed.
• Hand Picked judges will vote for their favourite photo at the end of the month

Rules and regulations:

• Copyright of all images belongs to the participating photographers. By participating in this contest, members will allow Hand Picked Hotels the rights to reproduce the short-listed images for publication and promotion purposes including website, email promotion and marketing purposes.
• All fans must include their real names, contact numbers and emails along with their submissions.
• This online photo contest is open to all fans/Hand Picked Hotels customers/loyalty members.
• Staff of Hand Picked Hotels are not eligible to enter this online photo contest.
• Submit JPEG images only.
• Hand Picked Hotels can disqualify photographs at any time
• Hand Picked Hotels will not allow any form of competitive behaviour that they feel is unacceptable.
• Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or transferable. Any prizes not claimed within one month from the date of the results announcement will be forfeited and no further claims thereafter will be entertained.
• Decisions of the judges are final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
